Staff Backend Engineer, Platform

About the role

You will set the technical direction for the services that ingest signals, run agents and dispatch actions across every channel our customers use.

What you'll do

• Lead architecture across ingestion, orchestration and action dispatch.
• Set standards for reliability, observability and cost across the platform.
• Coach senior engineers; raise the technical bar of the team.
• Partner with ML and product to keep the platform ahead of demand.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of backend engineering, with staff-level scope at a serious product.
• Deep experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Track record of shipping to enterprise customers with hard SLAs.

Nice to have

• Experience running ML or decisioning platforms at scale.
• Background in fintech, telco, streaming or gaming infra.
