This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every customer and user of the Markin platform. It exists to keep the Service safe, lawful and useful for everyone.
You may not use Markin to
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including data protection, consumer protection and marketing rules.
- Send unsolicited commercial messages without a valid legal basis and clear unsubscribe.
- Target minors with commercial offers, or exploit vulnerable audiences.
- Process special categories of personal data unless explicitly agreed and lawful.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or benchmark the Service without written consent.
- Attempt to circumvent security, rate limits, or access controls.
- Upload malware, or use the Service to attack any system.
- Deceive end users through false, manipulative or dark-pattern experiments.
Experimentation ethics
Markin supports rigorous experimentation. Customers are responsible for ensuring that experiments are lawful, respect user consent, and do not cause foreseeable harm. Guardrails may be enforced by the platform.
Enforcement
Markin may investigate suspected violations, suspend affected workspaces, and terminate the agreement for material or repeated breaches. Report abuse to abuse@markin.ai.
