# Hypothesis provenance

> Hypothesis provenance is the complete, inspectable chain behind a decision: which signals raised it, which analysis sized it, who or what wrote the hypothesis, which experiment tested it, and what the causal read-out was. It makes an autonomous system auditable rather than merely fast.

## Why it matters for ARPU

An enterprise cannot deploy autonomous revenue decisions it cannot explain to finance, legal or a regulator. Provenance is what makes autonomy acceptable at enterprise scale.
